The Hot Chili and Loud Shirt party for Jose De La Cruz at New Jersey's
Van Suen Park fought two formidable foes... the NYC Marathon
and a drenching like NYC hasn't seen in 1997. Nevertheless,
over a hundred friends and supporters turned out, with lots of
hardcores braving monsoon rains on their bikes to attend the
event. Many generous dealers and friends contributed
merchandise which raised thousands for Jose's Get Well fund. A
fun time was had by all.
